A desperate couple walks into a loan office hoping to recover from a financial disaster caused by the boyfriend’s gambling. With existing debts, limited income, and banks refusing to help, their chances of getting the money they need seem slim. Things take an unexpected turn, however, when the loan manager realizes that the girlfriend sitting across from him is someone he knew very well years ago. Old memories quickly complicate what was supposed to be a strictly professional meeting. While her boyfriend remains completely unaware of what is unfolding nearby, the former acquaintances reconnect and quietly negotiate a solution to the couple’s financial problem.
