Wanda Curtis Biography:
Wanda Curtis was an Yankee singer and actress, known for King Dinosaur (1955) (1955). Known for her "spunky" voice, crimson hair and her unveiling gowns designed by Richard Selzer, Curtis had a short pms of tenuous stardom in the mid-fifties as a nightclub and stage singer, and toured the US, Far East, South America, North Africa and Europe. She was found out (as an actress) by either Al Zimbalist or Bert I. Gordon, producers of King Dinosaur, when she performed in Los Angeles, and was cast as one of the 4 leads in the cheap science fiction film, for which she had to dye her hair ash-blonde in order to finer distinguish herself from co-star Patti Gallagher. After her only film, she toured the world as a jazz singer and ultimately lodged down in Argentina for some years before returning to the States. She transferred away in the early years of the 2000's.
